Kentucky™ Models
Kentucky™ dulcimers are reminiscent of the old-time dulcimers made by legendary builder J. E. Thomas of Knott Co. Kentucky - circa 1870 - 1930. The fact that Thomas' dulcimers are still used as a basis for so many "modern" dulcimers is a testament to the timeless beauty, sound and quality of his design. While Thomas sold his dulcimers from the back of a mule cart - we who carry on his tradition have replaced the mule cart with an Internet web page.
Kentucky™ dulcimers are constructed of 100% solid wood with all metal hardware and no plywood, veneers or plastic parts.
Typical dimensions: Length = 34" Width = 6¾" Height = 3¼" Height of Sides = 2½"
